SaaS platform for tournament and club management in martial arts
TournaEvent
TournaEvent runs a karate tournament from announcement to award ceremony: online registration with payments, draw and bracket generation, live scoring at the tatami, arena monitor control. Built entirely solo — architecture, backend, frontend, infrastructure, and operations. Adopted as the federation standard by the German JKA Karate Federation.
The project brings together two worlds: 27 years of experience with business-critical software and 40 years of karate — as competitor, European champion, and instructor. The domain knowledge doesn't come from interviews; it comes from sitting at the judges' table.

My role
Concept, architecture, and implementation entirely in my own hands: data model and row-level security, REST APIs, payment integration, CI/CD pipeline, container deployment, monitoring — plus product decisions in direct exchange with the federation, organizers, and referees.
